ProFellow.com, an online platform for sharing information on fellowships and academic opportunities, has featured the Humanity in Action Fellowship as one of its 30 Social Justice Fellowships in Law and Advocacy for Students and Professionals.
Every year, the Humanity in Action Fellowship program brings together an international group of students and recent graduates to explore critical issues of democracy, pluralism, human rights, and social justice. For four weeks, Fellows meet with local experts and community members, visit museums and historical sites, and engage in constant discourse with one another and program leaders in one of our program locations: Amsterdam, Atlanta, Berlin, Copenhagen, Sarajevo or Warsaw. For the eleven months following the on-site programs, Fellows translate their acquired knowledge in action through the development of a human rights-based initiative or campaign in their own communities.
