Humanity in Action is pleased to announce our 2025 Humanity in Action Fellows. Coming together from 9 countries via our six national offices, this cohort of Fellows will participate in four Fellowships in Europe. Humanity in Action Fellows are dynamic, passionate young leaders who care deeply about improving human rights, strengthening democracy and taking on the work of transforming systems, not just imagining a better world.
Our Fellowships are designed to challenge, provoke, and inspire.
At Humanity in Action, we don’t just talk about change – we question power, bridge divides, and build the kind of communities we want to live in,” said Azi Khalili, Executive Director of Humanity in Action, Inc. “Our Fellowships are designed to challenge, provoke, and inspire. We push young leaders out of their comfort zones and into deep, uncomfortable, necessary conversations—grounded in history, shaped by cross-cultural exchange, and driven by action. I am excited for this new cohort to experience Humanity in Action’s unique approach.”
True leadership means standing firm in the face of injustice.
“As polarization intensifies across the US, Europe, and the wider world, we are reminded that true leadership means standing firm in the face of injustice – and speaking out for a future rooted in equity, inclusion, and human rights,” believes Monika Mazur-Rafał, International Program Director at Humanity in Action. “Humanity in Action is honored to support a new cohort of young individuals who are ready to think outside of the box in defending the rights of all.”
