Senior Landecker Fellow Mamobo Ogoro recorded a video for the Irish Times in which she discusses diversity in Ireland. According to Mamobo, while there is diversity in the country, Ireland is missing positive engagement.

“We need a lot more communities to be bridging across the differences,” Mamobo speaks to the current situation, adding that more work needs to be done especially on inclusion of minorities.

Mamobo is one of thirty 2021-2022 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
