Landecker Fellow Maciej Kuziemski was selected as an Obama Foundation Leader 2023, joining the class of 105 emerging leaders, hailing from a wide variety of nations and territories, “who work across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and address a full range of social impact issues.”
“I am honored to be given the opportunity to learn and grow with an incredible cohort of Obama Leaders from across the globe,” shared Maciej in his LinkedIn post.
Indeed, the Obama Foundation Leaders program aims to “inspire, empower and connect regional cohorts of changemakers to accelerate positive and lasting change in their communities and throughout their region,” the Foundation’s website explains.

Maciej is one of thirty 2022-2023 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
