In the 11 months following the on-site Fellowship program, our Fellows work on their Action Project: an independent venture focused on promoting democratic values in their own communities. Action Projects are as diverse as Humanity in Action Fellows. Fellows apply their new knowledge and perspectives to the communities they impact—in whatever format they find meaningful. The Humanity in Action community is a great resource for getting support—be it with contacts, experience or good advice. EDVACAY Project: U zdraviji mozak
The fellows designed and produced a series of short animated films explaining the key elements of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s educational and political structure. The project aimed to enhance political literacy among youth, encourage them to independently explore how the state functions, and help them recognize their own role in its development.

EDVACAY Project: Kol’ko košta papir?
EDVACAY Fellows launched the project “Kol’ko košta papir?” (How Much Does a Piece of Paper Cost?) to highlight the unequal administrative fee charges for basic documents among students and unemployed individuals in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initiative aimed to advocate for free document certification regardless of a person’s place of residence, recognizing that seemingly small administrative costs often create real barriers for young people pursuing education or employment.

To address this gap, the Fellows created A Migrants’ Manual for BiH and the EU—a practical guide designed to help people on the move access essential resources and protect their rights.
