Trine Pejstrup

Trine holds a Bachelor’s in Development Studies from Lund University and a Master’s in Political Communication and Management from Copenhagen Business School. Her professional areas of interest center around human rights in the context of international peace and security, disarmament, and defence technologies.

Trine works at the Danish Institute for International Studies as a research assistant affiliated with the DIIS Tech initiative, from which she has contributed to discussions on the political and democratic implications of defense technologies, the Danish defense industry, and Denmark’s role in outer space. Prior to this, she has held internships at the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs, the Office of the Under-Secretary-General for UNDGACM in New York, and as a Graduate Professional position with United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. She has recently received the OSCE-UNODA Scholarship for Peace and Security and is a HIA Senior Fellow from the 2020 Copenhagen Fellowship.
